Introduction
Judicial Service Civil Judge Exam (Junior Division) is conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must have completed a Bachelor of Laws from the recognized University in india
- Candidate must be an Advocate enrolled under the provisions of the Advocate Act 1961, a Barrister of England or Northern Ireland, or a Member Faculty of Advocates in Scotland and are entitled to practice in the Court.
- Candidate must possess a thorough Knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari Script.
- Candidate must be a Citizen of India.
- A candidate for direct recruitment to the service must have attained the age of 22 years and must not have attained the age of more than 35 years.
- Age relaxation is provided to following categories:
- In case, the candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste, OBC, Skilled players of UP, the relaxation in age is given up to 5 years.
- A 5-year age relaxation is also given to candidates who have served in the army for at least 5 years.
- The aforementioned relaxation in age is applicable to Ex-serviceman/Emergency Commissioned Officers/Short Service Commissioned Officers/Commissioned Officers of the U.P.
- For Physically Handicapped candidates, 15 years of age relaxation is given.
- There will be no age relaxation for Dependents of Freedom Fighters.
- The Government employees are also eligible to apply but no relaxation is given to them.
